Same sources, same fragments, same compositions and the same two inks as the first study — the dot screen lifted off so the photographs read as continuous tone. The halftone goes back on later in the process.
Under each finished study sit its two separated plates at full resolution: one screen carries the photographic image, the other the flat color field and its off-register ghost. Printed back over one another, they rebuild the study above.
